Got up a bit later than usual as our helicopter flight wasn't until 10. Headed on over and had two other couples in our helicopter and off we went! It was pretty spectacular, and I would highly recommend it for anyone going there. It did seem to be over to quickly but it was fantastic. Just wish we had of gone a bit lower and almost into the canyon but you probably aren't allowed to do that!
After that we headed back onto the road we came down the previous day and set off back toward antelope canyon. Got there a bit early and had lunch and was able to get onto a slightly earlier tour. It was a very steep climb down into the canyon and once you were down there it was like being in another world - the shapes and colour and smoothness of the walls was just so surreal and beautiful. Took about 300 photos in the hour we were down there! And every one just looks like some amazing abstract painting or something, you would never believe it was a canyon! It was very busy in there though - you could only go single file most of the way and by the time our tour group had gotten in, the start of the next tour was right on our tails.
A long drive back to the Grand Canyon but made it just in time for the sunset which we watched before heading back to the campsite. Had three deer crossings on the way back!
