Another early wake up - stace up at like 4am again, yet still seems to have more energy than me throughout the day!! We got the train to a cheesecake shop that had been recommended and I had a yummy salted caramel one. We then walked all the way down to the financial district and round Wall Street before heading over on the Staten Island ferry that goes right past the statue of liberty (for free!) didn't look like there was much to do there so headed straight back and then walked to the twin tower memorial which was really beautiful and sad. Had lunch at a Mexican place and then more bloody walking along the waterfront to this cool installation I had heard about where an old overground train/tram track had been converted into a garden path above the city. It was sooo cool! Lots of beautiful plants and art and food stalls. Really nice views of the city too. And at the end of it there was a huge Lego thing where you could 'build your own' high line! Back home by 7ish, exhausted again!
