Ireland day two

Got up bright and early and had a bit of brekky at the hostel. Set off and the first stop was a photo stop at a beach on the west coast which was very pretty - someone was getting in the water just as we were taking photos - they must be mad. We drove through the town of dingle and grabbed a cup o tea at the shop.

We started driving along a one way road along a cliff on the west coast known as 'sleighhead loop' , and just as we were approaching a hairpin bend know as 'the devils elbow' the bus conked out. Poor paddy the bus driver was swearing and cursing 'damn you bus not here!' And he could not have been more right, we had stopped right on the devils elbow - possibly the worst place to ever break down and the cars were beginning to pile up behind us. Luckily one of the guys on the tour was a mechanic so they were fiddling about with it for a while. Managed to get it out of the way to another corner that cars could just squeeze past us. We counted and i think we got to about 35 cars that were stuck behind us! Our guide walked us up to a good view along the road and people were beeping and waving at us - we must have looked mad walking in the middle of nowhere! And the funniest part of all this was Stacey. Now I don't think I have mentioned it before but her case weighs a bloody ton, and by the end of today it was apparent why. Stacey pipes up and says  - 'did you need and tools I have some in my bag' so not only has she brought three pairs of jeans but it turns out in her bag she has a first aid kit, a tool kit, a Swiss Army knife set, a pair of binoculars and god only knows what else.

So finally they got the bus working and we were off again. We stopped at another beach with an amazing view and Stacey and I went on a mission up this very steep hill and the view was amazing. Next stop was just round the corner and another amazing view - one of the cliffs had this perfect square cave cut out of it which was amazingly not actually man made. We got back to dingle rather a bit later than planned and had lunch at this little cafe in a shop. Had goats cheese bruschetta to share and it was sooooo so good. Then went over the road to murphys  ice cream shop and had the most amazing sea salt ice cream which sounds weird but I've never tasted anything so delicious, it made your mouth water while you ate it. Walked around the town for a while and then got our luggage and got onto a different but to get to ennis. Everyone was pretty much asleep the whole way there on the bus.

Got to our hostel 'the rowan tree' which we got informed was haunted so I dragged Stacey with me when I needed to go to the toilet haha. Had dinner in cafe next to hostel and then planned to go out but we were both feeling the need for a decent nights sleep so we decided to stay in.
